Antony House
Film director Tim Burton chose Antony House in (2010) to shoot his film, 'Alice in Wonderland'. He was looking for 'a perfect, pocket-sized mansion; something beautifully symmetrical, with intimate interiors, wide views and landscaped gardens.'

Boconnoc
Boconnoc House and Park have been used for numerous film locations including the BBC Poldark series and scenes from the (1993) film of 'The Three Musketeers'.

Bryher
The film 'Why the Whales Came' was made on Bryher in 1989 and starred Helen Mirren, Helen Pearce, Paul Scofield and David Suchet.

Cadgwith
The film 'Ladies in Lavender' starring Dame Judi Dench and Maggie Smith was filmed here in 2004. The village was made famous in 2011 by Monty Halls' series 'The Fisherman's Apprentice' which featured the cove and the many fishermen that work here.

Charlestown
The harbour is a popular film location and has been used for 'Dr Who' (2011), 'Poldark' (1975-1977), 'The Eagle Has landed' with Sir Michael Cain (1976), 'The Three Musketeers' (1993), 'Moll Flanders' (1996), 'Rebecca' (1996) 'Frenchman's Creek' (1998), 'Mansfield Park' (1998) and 'Wives and Daughters' (1999).

Cotehele
Cotehele was used in the filming of Trevor Nunn's (1996) film adaptation of Twelfth Night. It was used for scenes taking place in the quayside tavern and the inside of Orsino's castle.

Falmouth
Falmouth welcomed Hollywood’s Brad Pitt for the filming of the multimillion pound blockbuster 'World War Z', back in 2011. And Falmouth Docks has a history as a film location, or a base for filming at sea, including 'Scott of the Antarctic' and 'Hornblower'.

Headland Garden
The garden in Polruan has been the subject of numerous gardening programmes and gardening books and was also the setting for the film "Stolen Hours" made in 1963.

Looe
Looe has led the success of another BBC drama, 'Beyond Paradise', which was filmed in the town in 2022.

Mevegissey
Mevagissey is a popular location for film-makers and advertisers. It featured in 'The Next of Kin', (1942); 'Johnny Frenchman', (1945); 'Never Let Me Go', (1953); 'Dracula', (1979) and 'Bad Education', (2015).

Minions
Filming for 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children' took place in 2015.

Newquay
Newquay has been used as a filming location for many films including 'The Witches' in (1994) set inside Newquay's Headland Hotel and in (1967) by The Beatles during the 'Magical Mystery Tour' which used Newquay's Atlantic Hotel. Others including 'Wild Things' (1988) and some of the scenes in 'Blue Juice' (1995) were filmed in Newquay.

Polruan
The film 'Stolen Hours' featuring Susan Hayward was filmed around Polruan. The latter part of the film follows an actress who comes to Polruan to live out the remainder of her life, following a brain tumour, with her surgeon husband. The (1963) film displays older shots of the village including use of the village shop, "Headland House", and the clip of the children's sports day which is filmed where Greenbank is now built.

Portloe
The village was used as a location for the (1963) film "Crooks in Cloisters", The Lugger Hotel can clearly be seen at the film's end. It was also the location for the BBC comedy series "Wild West", which starred Dawn French and Catherine Tate and the location where "Irish Jam" was filmed, starring Eddie Griffin, and the film "Forever England" which starred John Mills.

Port Issac
In recent years, makers of television programmes such as Poldark have used this area as a film location. In October 2005, the village was again used for the backdrop to the television production of Rosamunde Pilcher's The Shell Seekers in 1989. Filming took place in the village for a week with the production's star, Vanessa Redgrave, filming many of her scenes in the main street. The comedy film Saving Grace was filmed in and around the village in 2000. The village has become home, for part of the year, to designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen. Also the village is now famous as the filming location of the TV series 'Doc Martin' from 2004. In 2019, the film 'Fisherman’s Friends' saw filming again using Port Issac.

Portholland
Portholland was a filming location for the village scenes of the Welsh island 'Cairnholm' in the (2016) film 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children'.

Porthpean
Porthpean House wast The location for the Richard Curtis (2013) film 'About Time'.

St. Buryan
Sam Peckinpah's (1971) film 'Straw Dogs', starring Dustin Hoffman and Susan George, was filmed in St. Buryan.

St. Ives
In 2011 when the fourth 'Pirates of the Caribbean' film was released,'On Stranger Tides' a long-standing relationship with pirates was demonstrated in St. Ives.

The Eden Project
The Eden Project was used as a filming location for the (2002) James Bond film, 'Die Another Day' (starring Pierce Brosnan). On 2nd July 2005 The Eden Project hosted the "Africa Calling" concert of the Live 8 concert series. It has also provided some plants for the British Museum's Africa garden.

Tresco
In the (1989) the BBC adaptation of 'The Voyage of the Dawn Treader', the scenes on the fictional Lone Islands were filmed on Tresco, with the on-ship scenes being filmed on a ship on the surrounding sea.

Trewithen House and Garden
Trewithen has been used as a film location for two Rosamunde Pilcher films. The interior of the House was featured in 'The Blossom of Life' in (1999) and the entire façade of the south side of the house was changed to look like the front as a location for 'Amazing Grace' in (2005).

Watergate Bay
Watergate Bay has been used as a film location for 'Plunge' (2003), a surf movie featuring Kate Winslet. 'Echo Beach' (2008), a 12-part TV series that was filmed during the summer of 2007 featuring Jason Donovan and Martine McCutcheon. 'Moving Wallpaper' (2008), a behind-the-scenes comedy following the making of Echo Beach.
