- The Racehorse Inn is believed to be over 300 years old. Originally built as a school for local children, it was purchased from The Diocese of Truro in 1964 to convert into a public house. The inn has been sympathetically refurbished by the current owners, offers easy access for the disabled and a separate non-smoking dining room. The comfortable beamed lounge and bar area have open log fires. Outside you will find the south-facing beer garden, seated deck area, and large car park.

- Dating from around 1233, making it Penzance's oldest pub, it was the first in the country to be given the Turks Head name. Sadly, a Spanish raiding party destroyed much of the original building in the 16th century, but an old smugglers' tunnel leading directly to the harbour and priest holes still exist.
