Something for everyone or everything for someone
A great place that sells a wide range of products at great prices. There is an indoor market and a boot sale outside. It opens every weekend and bank holidays.
There's everything from household appliances to garden machinery, kitchenware to children's toys, computer games to books, collectables to modern day, freshly cooked food to take away or eat in one of the two cafes. You can get keys cut or even your hair cut now too!
The building was originally a builders merchants owned by David and Annette Arthur. It first opened as an indoor market on 10th April 1988. For about a year before this, there had been a very busy outdoor market on the site with traders queuing and fighting for a pitch every weekend. Some traders were only allowed to trade on one of the days to allow other traders to come in on the following day.
It was taken over by Markets South West and then by Wendy Fairs. The Arthur's took control again until the year 2000, when it was leased to Town and Country Markets, who ran it for ten years. On 12th August 2010, the Arthur's took over again and retain ownership today.
Located just off the A30 between Redruth and Camborne.
